~The Laws of Sun Moon Sect~

I. Only SunMoon members may use the Clan Crafting room. (except in the below listed cases)

a) A SunMoon member is allowed to let another one of their characters to use SunMoon crafting Hall NPCs, as long as they tell a Councilor they will be doing so and that they put the name of their SunMoon character into their profile (just while they are using the SunMoon Crafting Hall). *This will ease confusion. If you don't want SunMoon members knowing that you have another character or who that character is do not use the Crafting Hall. If your other character belongs to another clan, that character must use that clan's crafting facilities. If found using ours, "remove nuisance" will be utilized.

b) A SunMoon member is allowed to have their Spouse/Blood Brother come to SunMoon Crafting Hall to do crafting together. The member must be present at all times when the Spouse/Blood Brother is present, and is responsible for the behavior of Spouse/Blood Brother.

II. Clan Devotees are NOT allowed in the Clan Crafting hall under any circumstances. A Clan devotee in the Clan Crafting room will be punished severely, likely resulting in exilement.

Section P: Clan Disciplines

I. Under Koguryian State Law, any crimes that takes place in a Clan hall will be dealt with by the Clan and not the Nexus Justice system. With the exception of Clan Chat, which is considered a form of Sage, and may be disciplined by Justice.

II. The Primogen has the right to over rule or edit any punishment, at any point in time.

III. Problems with another member should be taken to the Primogen, Primarch, or Clan Arbitrator. Do not post the problem on clan board, they will post if they take action to explain why to the clan.

IV. Councilors and the Primarch must send a report to the Primogen after they handle any Clan justice matters whether a fine was given or not.

V. Only the Primogen has the power to exile any member from the Clan.

VI. Councilors, who believe a fine for a crime they handled should be larger than 10,000 coins, must get permission from the Primogen before handing it out.

VII. Any member exiled from the Clan must be given 'forgiveness' from the Primogen before their application to even join the Clan will be considered.

VIII. Fines and demerits shall be as follows:
a) An arbitration shall be held.

b) Payment of ambers, coins, or collection of items to be determined per case and insight of the clan member.

c) Punishment for crimes varies, based upon the severity of the crime and the number of offenses. Possible consequences, meaning those acceptable for use in our family justice, are alphabetically listed below. Any combination of the listed options may be used.
-Compensation - the offender must replace all items and money lost by his or her victim.
-Dutiful service - the offender must perform a service (named by judging party) to the victim, the family, and/or the community.
-Exile - the offender is exiled from SunMoon Clan.
-Loss of privilege - the offender loses a privilege related to the crime for a period of time. In some cases, this is permanent.
-Probation - the offender is placed on probation with privilege restrictions for no less than two weeks.
-Demotion - the offender is removed or demoted from any family position he or she holds, regardless of their previous position. This is primarily designed for dealing with family leaders who have abused authority and/or privileges.
-Collection of Items - the offender is required to collect a certain, time consuming amount of items to be used towards Tribute.

d) 2 consecutive and confirmed arbitrations will subject the clan member to exile. Exile shall be determined after a second Arbitration. Depending on the case exile it maybe immediate, without a 1st or 2nd Arbitration board. This is only with approval from Primogen, with exception of overwhelming issues to be determined by Arbitrator. Report must be sent to Primogen.

e) All fine's are due to be paid within 1 week of receiving notice that the fine is due.

Section Q: Member Activity

I. All members must show clan activity. All Kindred are required to attend at least one clan function a month. This includes:
a) Kingdom wide events (Clan sponsored)
b) Clan Carnages
c) Militia Activities
d) Misc. Clan Events

II. All Clan members are also required to donate at least once a month.

Things to Remember:

I. Keep "Group" off while in SunMoon Hall. This way no unwanted, uninvited approaches may be made. This has been a problem in the past. Not a law, but a firm request.

II. Do not insult or provoke other members. It's ok to joke a little, but do not tease or torment. If someone say's "Stop!" ...then Stop.

III. Clan bank items are primarily used for monthly clan tribute and clan event prizes.
-Some items may be purchased for clan member personal use only. These will be sold at 50% of market value. Clan does help with free: Quest Items, Spell Items, and some Alliance items. Depending on availability and also on capability of member to procure these items by themselves. Do not ask for fox furs, or easily obtainable items. (Should I say "Lazy"?) Any item that doesn't have more than one in the bank may not be bought.

IV. We have a Clan Justice System. I expect all clan members to bring such concerns to council first and afford council enough time to act upon each complaint in a timely manner. If issue is serious, the Clan Arbitrator will be notified, and screenshots asked for. Clan law matters are to stay in the clan...not taken to the kingdom justice board.

V. Treat other SunMooners as you would wish to be treated.
-Bashing of fellow clan members will NOT be tolerated and will be subject to fines, demerits, and/or exile.

VI. When you are outside the clan hall, know and understand that you represent the SunMoonSect. Every action you take reflects us, whether it be in the community, in a cave, on the community board, or on sage. So please act with Consideration, Courtesy, and Kindness.
