-Musical Scrolls-

Musical Scrolls is played by placing yellow scrolls in a large circle/square.  In the center of the area, you must place one  less stardrop than you have people playing.

The hostess will say 1-2-3-GO!, and will start dancing to her own music.  When she starts dancing, the players start walking around on the yellow scrolls in one direction.  When she suddenly stops dancing, all players must rush to the center to stand on a stardrop.  There will be one player who is out, who did not find a stardrop to stand on.  The game continues until only one player stands on a stardrop, and is the winner!

The winner gets a nice prize, and losers usually get a nice consolation prize.

This game was designed by Maya

-Hide & Seek-

This isn't original but we have played it for many yuri's.  Several people from the clan will take at least 5 nice prizes with them, and find a really nice hiding place in Kugnae.  Not inside buildings or any caves.  Then they can sage a clue to where they can be found, once, maybe twice.

Usually anyone in the kingdoms can play, and it's lots of fun, especially for those who win!

-Sun Moon Drunken Monkey Races-

Sun Moon's Drunken Monkey Races are fun for all involved: those who participate & those who simply watch.

All players are lined up on yellow scrolls and given a Barbarian brew.  Then the host randomly places items around the room, with one really nice item as the main prize.

The host say's 1-2-3-Go! and the players drink their brews and start meandering around the area and try to land on a tile with an item on it.  If they land on an item they don't wish, they can keep going and try for the big prize.

It's lots of fun for all!

-Event Host's Guide-

-Hosting-

      1. Please familiarize yourself with all events used here in Sun Moon. You should be able to explain how the game is played to any participant, as well as all the rules to be followed. They are listed on both the Celestial Chronicles board and on the clan site. Please don't run any new events without them being approved first.
      2. As an event host, you are responsible for checking the calendar to see when you are scheduled to host an event. If you are unable to host the day you are scheduled to, please contact me so a replacment can be found, or ask another host to cover for you. If you have foreknowledge of a day or days you'll be gone on vacation, or whatever, please let me know ahead of time so you aren't placed on the schedule.
      3. If you wish, you may change the time your event is run, but it must be run on the day you are scheduled. If you change the event time, please try to post the new time at least 24 hours ahead. Check also that you do not conflict with any other clan event or hunt.
      4. If you are scheduled for an event you are unfamiliar with, or are uncomfortable hosting, please let me know ahead of time so you can be given a different event or replacement host can be found. We need to rotate the events for variety, so don't just pick one of your own.
      5. Please ask me for any items you need for an event other than prizes, such as ambers for Amber Battleship, limestone/obsidian for Toss Across, etc. If I or another councilperson is not available, go ahead and purchase what you need and you will be reimbursed for it.
      6. If you wish to run a random event that isn't on the schedule, please feel free to do it, but try to contact me first. Follow the same guidelines for getting prizes, etc as you would for a regularly scheduled event.

-Prizes-

      1. Please keep prizes to a reasonable price range. Although we are usually quite generous, considering we run daily events, our bank is not a bottomless pit. Items used should range from p water/p charm to lvl 50 hand item at the high end. Every now and then we might use a rare item just for the heck of it.  Better yet, cash prizes should be awarded so that nobody can feel slighted at getting a different item than someone else. 10k per person on a team event is a good amount. Events such as High Stakes Trivia obviously have the potential to pay out more than that.
      2. Never take the last of an item from the bank.
      3. Never use any item used by clan crafters. The exception would be items that are returned in the same condition they were withdrawn, such as ambers for Amber Battleship.
      4. Please request prizes ahead of time, but not so far ahead that you end up hunting with a load of BOD prize items. I would prefer you ask me to get prizes out for you, but any high council will be able to assist you. Please make a list of all items withdrawn and prizes given out. Have me or a member of council re-deposit any items not used.
      5. If a participant is dissatisfied with the prize they are given, do not feel pressured to give them anything more. These events are here to provide fun and participation in the clan, not for clannies to get rich or equip themselves or their other characters.

-Before/During/After-

      1. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your event to set it up and begin Clan Chatting on each server (Kugnae/Buya/Mythic) to notify clannies that your event is about to begin so they have time to finish what they might be doing. I usually start with a 15 minute warning, a 5 minute warning, then a 'beginning now' warning.
      2. Before getting started with the event, be sure to take down a list of all participants.
Don't forget to mail this list to AnorexicDog  and a list to Vales for Devotee purposes,  after the event is completed. Also mail me a list of the prizes used. I need to give this to Khaos so the bank matches the inventory she takes of it on a regular basis.
      3. If any participant is being disruptive to your event, ask them only -once- to stop whatever it is they're doing. If they continue, do not argue with them, contact a councilperson to speak with/remove them. Don't let one troublemaker take away your focus and ruin an event for the rest.
