  The purpose of clan hunts seems to have been forgotten in recent times. The intention of a clan hunt is to collect items for tribute points. This is how our clan hall benefits, and ultimately our family can grow. The other purpose of clan hunts is for our clan members to get together and have some fun. With that in mind, below are the guidelines for clan hunts.

Becoming a host:
-We can never have too many hosts - Anyone who would like to be a hunt host, please just ask us! But it's not all fun and games; it requires some level of commitment. So if you are willing to donate an hour or two or your time per week, just drop us a line.

Clan hunt procedures:
- Keep in mind that clan hunts must have 3 members and a host. If you are a host and cannot make it to a scheduled hunt, please notify the Head Seekers (Syrys and Norbz) by nmail or whisper. They will try to find a hunt host to cover your time. If you must cancel a hunt, you have to post your reason on the SM board and try to reschedule it.

Here is a quick guide to follow when hosting:

Before:
- Remember to announce it on clan chat 15 minutes before.
- Also, make an announcement over sage (if you have it), as some clan members do not have clan chat on.
- Assemble clan members and if it is scheduled as a TBA hunt, remember to consider the lower clan members attending and let the group decide on a place to hunt.
- Depend on what drops are in the cave you're going to, keep track of the items you already have on you such as ambers or coins.
- Make a list of all the attendees. Also take note of all devotees, people using their alternate characters and guests.

During:
- The host must collect all the drops.
- When the host is full, he or she can pick a person to hold the items so they may resume collecting.
- If someone joins late remember to take his or her name down.
- Before ending the hunt, if someone is holding excessive items collected by the group, remember to ask that clan member to join you in the Shop and drop them for you.

After:
- Thank everyone for attending.
- Make a post of the hunt results that includes who attended (mark devotees, alternates, and guests), where the hunt went to, and what items were gathered. Post this on the SunMoon board.
- Go and deposit all the collected items into the clan bank. If you do not have the depositing powers, ask a council member to meet you in the shop to deposit for you.
- If you cannot deposit and there are no a council members on, record the items, and find a council member later.
- Reports need to be sent to four people:
Clan accountant (currently AnorexicDog)
Head Kin Dept (currently Vales)
Head Seeker/s (currently Syrys and Norbz)

Impromptu Hunts
- These are hunts that are not schuduled anywhere. They can be hosted whenever. They do not required an official hunt host or council member. When you host one of these, follow the procedure above. The key point to remember is to hold the items for either the Head Seekers, Hunt Hosts, or a Council member to deposit in the future.
